Read next: The best family hotels in Turkey, according to Mumsnetters
What’s included in a TUI all-inclusive package?
This varies depending on individual resorts, however, most TUI all-inclusive packages include meals and snacks at the main buffet restaurant, as well as soft drinks and a selection of alcoholic options. Often resorts have other speciality restaurants on site. Packages usually include one complimentary visit per week to one of these restaurants. The availability of food and drinks, including opening times, varies between resorts, but many include bars open 24 hours. Responsible drinking is encouraged, particularly at family resorts, so you can expect some limitations on alcoholic drinks.
Most resorts offer an extensive entertainment package including kids' clubs, sports facilities and evening entertainment free of charge, although some specific activities may incur an additional fee.
What’s the difference between TUI BLUE, TUI BLUE Sensatori, TUI Suneo and TUI Magic Life?
TUI Suneo: Affordable beach breaks that offer great value for money. Generally three- and four-star hotels within a 10-minute walk of a beach, but due to their more affordable price tag, may offer less variety in terms of entertainment and kids' clubs.
TUI BLUE: Aimed at families who want to spend time together. There's a real focus on well-being and togetherness, so they encourage activities that families can enjoy together like large pools, varied dining options and extensive entertainment packages for adults and children alike. They also recognise that adults sometimes need a break too, with complimentary kids' clubs providing a wide range of entertainment and the opportunity for children to make new friends.
TUI BLUE Sensatori: Family-friendly hotels but in five-star surroundings, these luxurious hotels offer sophisticated dining options, combined with the facilities, entertainment and service associated with TUI BLUE resorts.
TUI Magic Life: These hotels are located right on the beach and offer a selection of pools to choose from. With an extensive entertainment package, guests can pick from more than 120 different options and enjoy food and drink around the clock thanks to 24-hour all-inclusive access. Whether your perfect holiday is relaxed or high energy, you can easily tailor this resort to your family’s needs.
Are kids’ clubs included at all TUI hotels?
Age limitations and details may vary from one resort to the next, but most kids' clubs generally operate for two hours a day, six days a week. Some may be grouped by age, whereas at smaller hotels there may be one club for children aged 3-12.
What’s the best TUI all-inclusive hotel for families?
It’s so hard to pick just one, as each TUI package offers something slightly different. That said, for its fantastic location, wide range of activities and entertainment, as well as family-friendly dining and kids' clubs to suit all ages, the TUI BLUE Aura in Ibiza's Port Des Torrent takes our top spot.
How we chose our recommendations
We spent several hours sifting through Mumsnet's forums for recommendations from users on the experiences of TUI All Inclusive, including the resorts they’ve visited personally and would rate most highly for a family holiday.
We then consulted recommendations from travel experts and made sure we included attractions that regularly appeared in ‘best’ lists or were the most highly rated by guests on TripAdvisor and review sites, ensuring that previous visitors were satisfied with their stay.
