I'm very interested in optimising my health and did the Zoe tests and programme a few years ago when it included the full range of fat, glucose and gut health tests.

I've been following Rangan Chaterjee since I saw him do a keynote speech at a work event many years ago. I've read all of his books and listen to Feel Better Live More, his weekly podcast.

He has Co founded a new company called Do Health and I signed up to the wait list. I've been informed I am now eligible to sign up and can see full pricing details. It's £250 per year, and includes baseline blood tests, and two further blood tests so you can see progress against a range of markers. Like Zoe Health, there seems to be an AI app that delivers a weekly personalised plan. I was wondering if anyone has signed up/ started the programme and could advise of their experience?

I wish there was a monthly payment option as it feels like a big outlay (although still cheaper than Zoe) and I think the retest option would keep me motivated.

In my mid 40s my health goals are different to even a few years ago. My diet is really good and I'm sure my gut microbes are very well fed. I need to reduce alcohol and move more, my job can be very sedentary for long hours. I am invested in improving my stress relief, and also managing through menopause. At the moment I have all of the knowledge but struggle to make the changes sustainably.

As an aside, I feel a bit grubby that RC is monetising his brand in this way, but understand this is the way of the world and I've vern getting excellent content from his podcast for free for many years.

I can afford it, but it feels like a lot to spend on a blood test and an app

Yes I'm tempted. It is a lot and I guess you can get most blood tests done via the GP but it's such a palaver and you have to make an appointment and then convince them that you need it. I wish there was a pay monthly option, I rarely have £250 going spare. But health is important. I've also been looking at Zoe but that seems really pricey for just the app.
