Please help - big boobs but hate bras, is there an alternative?

I have fairly big boobs (was a 32F pre kids no idea what it is now with 3 little kids and years of breastfeeding! not perky anymore either super soft instead). Not sure what my actual size is now.

Ive always hated wearing a bra, could get away without wearing one pre kids and I was ok. now I feel far too self conscious to do this, but if I wear a crop top style top it is so unflattering - uniboob, boobs crushed into each other, weird shape, makes my whole upper body look a bit "off" etc. etc.I also hate the look of my boobs shoved together and up to show off a cleavage I tend to be quite self-conscious

what I want to know is does anyone else feel like this and have a solution? is there some sort of option for support to stop them jiggling everywhere but some shape too so they dont look so odd? ive looked at 'bralette' brands but they all are for smaller sizes.

Have a look at Molke .

I just bought a pack of three Comfyin wireless bras from Amazon. I’m a 36F, ordered the XL. They fit perfectly and are incredibly comfortable. £15!

SlightFerret · 19/06/2026 17:48

There are a few soft cup bras/bralettes for your size OP. M and S do a lace bralette that covers your size. If you can get to a bravissimo store they should have a few as well.

Wampwhad · 19/06/2026 17:52

Try manners London clothes. They’re super supportive and don’t need a bra

Misha1998 · 19/06/2026 18:38

Thanks so much all I’ll be looking into them later!! Much appreciated

I would first of all get yourself measured properly. If you really can't bear the thought of that, there are pretty thorough instructions online if you Google it. Might be helpful to rope in your partner or a close friend!

I'm a 36F & have found a non-wired M&S style that I like. But it was the only one out of about six supposedly similar styles that fitted well & suited me! So I bought three ... two black & a nude! I would advise trying on lots, once you know your size.

This is the style I went for. Supportive & separates without hoisting your boobs up into a shelf!

The Manners London stuff is amazing, the fabric and cut holds everything in place without feeling squishy

SlightFerret · 19/06/2026 19:54

@EleanorMc67 has linked the M and S one I was talking about OP

I wondered if it might be the same! It's described as a bralette I think, but to me it's just a bra that's not underwired.

spicysalad · 19/06/2026 21:57

More drastic, but a breast reduction. Worth every penny.

SandyToes46 · 19/06/2026 22:07

You've read my mind! I was thinking about posting asking for the same thing. I wear an underwired fantasie bra that gives a lovely shape and separates but the underwires really bother me now.
I can't stand my boots touching each other so was hoping to find a bra that separates but without the wires!
Shall have a look at these links
I'm a 34G so I need the support but am hopeful I may find something 🙂

A breast reduction

WinchesterWanderer · 19/06/2026 22:09

I wear a bra which has side support, so basically it pushes the flesh forwards. I also wear full cups as my breasts are soft. If I wear something less than full cup my boobs fall out when I bend over and then are still in the spilled position when I stand back up. This doesn't happen with a full cup.

I wear Pour Moi Sofia and you can see the side support on the cup. There are other brands with side supports too. I am a 34FF and I have never worn an underwired bra so comfortable in my life. I was shocked as I genuinely did not think it existed for me.

I wear honeylove, they are not quite as perky as with underwire but much more comfortable

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 19/06/2026 22:17

You need to know your bra size. There are lots of really soft looking non-wired bras popping up on Facebook (and Amazon) and they look great but if you’ve got a small back and big boobs they just don’t make the size you need (I know from bitter experience!).

I struggle to find a comfy bra, but I’m too big to go without wires, so wear the Millie bra from bravissimo which gives great support and the wires don’t dig in! I also wear an M&S wired sports bra which again, is comfy despite the wires.

So if, like me, you can’t get a wireless bra that gives support, there are some options with wires that are ok!

Stelladid · 19/06/2026 22:47

I have discovered that if I size down at least one size, maybe two depending upon the style, they bralette bras from Boody and Step One give me enough lift and support and are far more comfortable than a conventional bra.

Yes, anything that is only sized s-m-l-xl isn't going to fit if you've a small back size with a large cup size. I must have looked at some once and now the Instagram algorithms show me them constantly!

BossFloss · 19/06/2026 22:53

I found Molke recently and I really like them. I have the original style and they have good support and give a nice shape- I am a 30H. They work under nice tops and dresses but I also wear them to the gym and Pilates. They are tricky to get on but well worth the effort.

itsnotmeitsu · 19/06/2026 23:12

I haven't worn a bra for ages. I got out of the habit during covid times, when we could barely go anywhere. I hate the feel of a bra on my rib cage. As an older woman I want some support and cover, so I now use breast enhancement pads under a camisole. Offers a bit of a boost and means I'm not scaring the horses.

Nelliemellie · 19/06/2026 23:19

Flexiform from TU sainsburys are so comfortable that you feel like you’re not wearing anything. They give enough support, I would never wear wires again.

Misha1998 · 19/06/2026 23:27

Thanks so much to all of you I wasn’t expecting so many options I’m looking through them all now very grateful!!

I also recommend this.

I like an M&S industrial sports bra. It keeps everything firmly where it’s supposed to be.

KurtCobainLover · 20/06/2026 07:19

I wear Molke original bras and step into them. They are incredibly comfy and give me the support I need without being jabbed by wires or my boob falling out. They aren’t cheap but they are worth the investment.
