Natasha is a Senior Content Editor at Mumsnet, overseeing all home and kitchen articles on the website. In 2025, she was named winner of Best Commerce Editor at the Commerce Awards for Publishers (CAPS), recognising her expertise in creating high-quality content that resonates with readers.
With several years of editorial experience under her belt, she has also had work published in national publications, including The i Paper and Stylist Magazine.
Her passion for writing and journalism started at a young age (she was an avid reader of The Funday Times!), which eventually led her to study English Literature and Language at the University of Nottingham, where she began her career as Features Editor for the student magazine.
She then went on to do a masters degree in Journalism at the University of Sheffield, while completing internships at Good Housekeeping Institute and The Observer Magazine. While studying, she was also a writer at Exposed Magazine where she wrote restaurant reviews, and highlighted Sheffield's key cultural and foodie events in print and online features.
After a three-year stint on Gransnet's editorial team, Natasha joined Mumsnet in 2021, and has since carved out a specialism in all things home and kitchen. An avid foodie, she loves nothing more than trying new culinary creations in the kitchen. This includes hands-on testing and in-depth reviewing of the latest time-saving gadgets for Mumsnet, including the best air fryers and slow cookers, along with kitchen essentials like kettles and toasters.
Natasha also oversees all floor care content on site, managing testing of the best vacuum cleaners and other cleaning gadgets, which she often personally puts through their paces to assess performance, ease of use, durability and value for money. Her methodical, real-home testing approach ensures each MNHQ review is backed by first-hand experience and thorough research.
When she’s not busy seeking out the top products and advice for Mumsnetters, you can find her searching for the next best restaurant, watching live music, curling up with a good book, cross-stitching, or enjoying a good hike or run.
