Morning all! Weigh in day and I've lost my little blip from last week plus a decent amount extra - 2.3kg this week but it's really 1.6kg over two weeks which is more realistic. I'm definitely getting more food noise so I'd made the decision to go up to 6.25mg. It was annoying to do it partway through a pen though so what I've actually done is split what was left in the pen (extra dose is usually about 0.8mls) into two even doses and taken 70 clicks last night which is about 5.8mg. I'll do the same next week then when I start the new pen I'll do 75 clicks each week to give me a dose of 6.25mg.

SnowWhiteisMyFavourite · 09/05/2026 08:12

Morning all!

thanks for the new thread, you guys are a very chatty bunch ❤️

weigh in day for me, and I have finally moved down to 70s, just! From now on, I will trust the process and stop worrying about slower losses.

SW 19st 3lbs
CW 12st 7lbs / 79.2kg
GW1 15st (03/01/26)
GW2 13st (21/03/26)
GW3 12st 2lbs (7st loss)
GW4 11st 11lbs (75kg)

a couple of great NSV from shopping trips this week. New Look size 14 fits perfectly and so does Phase Eight size 16. It’s such a great feeling when you can pick things up from high street shops and they fit! I have renewed my summer wardrobe now, I focused on very versatile dresses which I can dress up/down and will cover work and pleasure. No more shopping for me until I reach my goal weight,

Springflowers2 · 09/05/2026 10:46

Jesus @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne
It's like you actually know me ..you are 100% correct..do not give me choices .
I can't trust my own mind ,it flip flops from one thing to another.
I can think / believe something one minute and then ten minutes later I think believe the opposite.
I have to frequently say to people..take what I say with a pinch of salt .
Adding to that the over sharing with inappropriate people..
I really hope this medication helps ..going up to 56 mg in 3 days ..
Thankyou for the new thread xxx

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 09/05/2026 11:20

@Springflowers2

One of my sons is very like that with his ADHD. I mean, over choices.

Both my sons have AuDHD.
One has been to university and has always worked.

The other is so badly affected by his diagnosis that he cannot work. He's the one I try not to give choices to.

The one who works has ARFID and lives on Huel and the occasional vegan burger.

The one who doesn't work lives in my village. He's the one who famously said to me:

"Did you mean to dye your hair that colour?"

No filter.

🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for the new thread!

@Springflowers2 I have ADHD too and I hear you on the oversharing! I made it a resolution this year to try not to do it so much, I feel such a tit afterwards 😆

GUYS! I've hit a massive milestone (for me!). Weighted in at 205lbs this morning, that's officially the lightest I've ever been as an adult (since I started weighing myself). I was 206lbs in 2012 and that has always been the big scary number to beat.
Can't quite believe it tbh, feels like my scales are playing a horrible prank on me!
I think I was probably about 13 stone at around age 20 so that's my next big target to beat. Still seems unbelievable that it's possible!

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 09/05/2026 18:32

Well done @EnterSandfan that's brilliant!

Well done @EnterSandfan that's brilliant!

Thank you :) honestly this thread has been such a massive help, it might even doing more for me than the MJ is!
I've really learned so much here that I never knew, and everyone sharing their experiences and insights is so inspirational to me. So glad I stumbled across you guys 😊

PearlsTeapot · 09/05/2026 20:25

Thanks for the new thread 🥰

FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden · 09/05/2026 21:16

Yay for the new thread!

Loving all the ADHD talk :) (AuDHD here and work in the area)
I am 12st 1 today. It feels like this last stage is creeping slower and slower but its getting sooo much closer to starting with an "11".

I'm 1st2 to not being overweight.

I really struggle to guage how I look. Relative to how I was its completely different (that whole thing of not just seeing " v obese.obese" person anymore. But compared to colleagues I'm clearly overweight.

Last time I cared about smaller shop sizes was 20 years+ ago so even my relative internal idea of what sizes related to has changed as the sizes have all changed haven't they.

There is actually evidence that people who have group support lose more weight than people who go it alone - it's based on groups like SW and WW but I'd say online groups are even better as there is always someone to talk to.

Hello
well I’ve just come back from a holiday in canaries all inclusive. I’m not sure if I’m happy/ sad to report that I ‘m 1 kg up. Is that a victory or disappointing. I was aiming at maintenance calories. Hopefully it’s just water and it’ll settle . Was bloody weird being on mounjaro with all that temptation , I was very grateful for the help. Full after one plate of the buffet. No fancying the sugary cocktails. Weird. But Achilles heal was they had a beach cafe that every after did fresh donuts and iced coffee..,,

Thanks for the new thread @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne , and hello all!

Billybingbong · 10/05/2026 10:06

Hello friends on our shiny new thread. Thank you Broon for keeping us so organised.

No weigh in from me for the next couple of weeks. We're away in a motorhome exploring our beautiful country, just me, DH and the pooches. The lovely sense of freedom and non routine is wonderful, but the snacks and wine are creeping back in, so I'm expecting a gain when I get back. But thats a worry for another day. Have a great week everyone.

Cat4324 · 10/05/2026 11:18

Hey everyone :) Jab 28 today, now sitting comfortably under 18st for the first time in years! Total loss so far 21.9kg/48.3lb/3st 6.3lb. Now at the point that I need to buy new clothes, and I've had to even send some back that I hadn't bought in a small enough size 🎉
