Thank younforbthe new thread.

Got to start with the Australian government pulling funding for Invictus, and the resignation of the Invictus vice chair tdau.

What do we think is going down behind the scenes?

Puzzledandpissedoff · 13/05/2026 12:05

I really don’t think she knows who she is unless she’s staring into a lens

This was from the previous thread - I'm in Greece and just catching up - but seems to me to sum up the whole thing

I've honestly never seen such hunger for the camera elsewhere, and it's starting to look like outright derangement

Nobody's that interested in what your kids look like, love, so why not just enjoy them instead of this manic need for attention?

I'd hope that these people at least are starting to see H&Ms' involvement for what it so clearly is, @rhaidimiddim, but who knows?

Either way there's obviously a domino effect going on here, and with the many grifts they've dabbled in it's only natural if it takes time for them all to fall

Wasn't Harry in Australia to help lobby for Australia to host Invictus 2031? I guess that isn't happening now!

Losing the big corporate sponsors is also a huge problem while governments are no longer happy to splash millions on events that attract relatively few competitors in politically challenging environments where competing nations may be a war with each other.

Invictus has a huge problem with financial transparency. The days of Harry's brand of "White Saviour" philanthropy, where the charity funds private jets, 5* hotels, an entourage and security in return for the patrons smiling and waving, are over. Sponsors want to see results for donations - not coverage dominated by Meghan's wardrobe changes.

Apologies for the typos. I was on my (small screen) phone and didn't spot them in time.

It is one weird photo. She has the kind of exaggerated face and accompanying hand gesture that I use when I'm playing with the dog. "Where's it GONE, Fido?" or "Shall we go WALKIES?"

But she's looking at the camera, not the child.

She seems totally unable to allow anyone else be the centre of attention - not even her own kids on their birthday treat. She has to make it about her own overacted reactions.

She could have just posted a few pictures focussed on the kids - Lili with the princess and one of Archie doing something he enjoyed. Did Archie get his own experience? The pictures she chose show Archie as an afterthought and always bottom right edge. Meghan is usually centre of shot.

Sponsors want to see results for donations - not coverage dominated by Meghan's wardrobe changes.

There are a few Redditt/TwiX posters who have been pushing very hard for Invictus to provide full information on where the money goes. They started a campaign inviting others to request information from Invictus, and are intending to report Invictus to the Charities Commission if it does not provide the information it is legally required to. At the moment Invictus has provided only partial information - as in, documents where key details of expenditure are redacted.

It was in the wake of this that Paul Saunders, Digital Communications Manager for Invictus, did a AMA on TwiX, which went disastrously for him and he has now locked down his account.

It is as if those who should have been looking carefully at how Invictus is being run are now being forced to. Sentebale would have helped them see a pattern.

MM's One Off page had looks that go back to September 2023! I thought it was only announced/launched around Australia tour time, so someone has gone back to load it with old outfits in the hope of selling more. She's got her Cartier bracelet on there for $8000!

No Disney clothes on there as yet.

StrawberryWasp · 13/05/2026 13:00

There is something that feels very uncomfortable and off about Archie's exposure by his parents.

He's described as 'sweet' and 'tender' as crying when his father returns from work, as worrying about his mother, then photos of him looking isolated, or being overlooked and not mentioned at all while his sister is celebrated.

And now this photo. Him looking scared or avoidant at a theme park. While his mother laughs for the camera. And his parents choosing to show this to the world.

(It might just be a 'I'm so embarrassed I'm not hugging a princess!!!" moment, but you'd need to be part of the family to know that and laugh about it with him privately, when he's older. )

There feels something very off in the way they portray him.

If they don't want people to notice or comment they should stop talking about and sharing images of the children altogether.

Or at least they should be considering much more carefully what they say and share.

StaySpicy · 13/05/2026 13:01

Also, that photo of her sitting on the counter just looks odd. She's clearly balanced there, just about, yet has her head back and eyes closed like she's catching some rays. Was there no-one on set to advise on some decent poses?

Haven't watched the IG video but tempted to with all the talk of nearly licking jam jars! 😆

Starryfifty · 13/05/2026 13:04

Ingriftus veterans have to pay their own way. What's in this for them? Why bother? Surely a charity venture which assist veterans in home adaptations, etc would be much better?

I feel Archie is always portrayed in a very odd way but not Lilly. He's almost ridiculed. I hope to god the little boy doesn't have any additional needs as his twat parents are just not equipped to deal with it

Rolling this post from @elessar over to the new thread (about the A being scared of Sleeping Beauty picture):

The headline is horrible but it literally just describes what’s in the photo, and Meghan was the one who released the photo.

I'm absolutely confident that H&M if they saw the headline would blame the “horrible press” and take no responsibility, but the only person who is to blame for this is Meghan for putting an unpleasant and embarrassing photo of her son into the public domain. Why, why, why would you put that out there? (my underlining)

Unfortunately, my very brittle, jealous, whackjob mother would do exactly this sort of thing. She was actually jealous of her daughters, not her sons (i.e. my brothers), although she was jealous of any time my father spent with my brothers, and jealous of any time my brothers spent with their father. Subtle pyschological punishments with plausible deniability would follow. If you pushed back, she would cleverly rope in her cronies to back her up, without some of them even realising how they were being manipulated at the time. She was an expert at separation of knowledge and them bam! - the triangulation and administering of the punishment followed. This could be weeks, months, years later.

Shaming (even if subconscious) not that uncommon a family dynamic - just better hidden in most families because most families aren't famous and posting publicly so much on social media for profit.

StormGazing · 13/05/2026 13:35

Have had something pop up on google stating that H&M are deeply hurt after the king and queen went to America, lots of garbage, but essentially between the lines they think they should have been front and centre of the royal visit, not excluded … then of course Me-again was deeply upset again that Charles didn’t tell Trump off for being mean about her … boo fucking hoo 😂 - the pair are deluded … can they not see they’re toxic buffoons who no one wants to be seen with

HoldMyWine · 13/05/2026 13:55

Thanks for the new thread @AtIusvue, they fill up so quickly thanks to the Montecito madness.

Where does information like this come from? I mean is it real, have they actually said that, has someone overheard and passed in on that really dislikes them, is it just made up?

I struggle to see how either of them could allow that message to get out if they had any control over it what so ever as it is so, well, bonkers.

kinsey Schofield and Rupert bell discussed it. Tbh, I'm actually not surprised. I think they expected KC to pull Trump up on his comments about PH and Meg

If its true that is the most definite reason why they can never come back as working Royals. They fundamentally fail to understand the job.

Of course KC couldn't bring personal matters to a state occasion. Its delusional
