Comfortable wireless bra recommendations after weightloss?

BotherThatKitty · 05/05/2026 08:49

After losing 8st my nips are kissing my belly button when allowed to freerange.

Am very self concious about this but obviously don't want to live in a wired bra 24/7 and its getting warmer now so my dressing gown can't hide my sins

(Please don't tell me to love and embrace them, its a process)

Any recommendations for a bra that is comfy but will tame and support some tubular tamales?

Note this isn't for under my daytime clothes, wear wired during the day. But more for when I'm pottering round the house in a vest top/cleaning etc.

@BotherThatKitty , I refuse to wear wired bras anymore. I find this one very comfortable and it’s super cheap.

Congratulations on your weight loss! I have had a similar experience (although haven’t lost as much as you). I bought some Truekind ones from a recommendation on here and they are great. They have actually replaced all my underwired ones too because they give a really good shape but they have a big range so you can choose a less push up style.

I bought some of these but my problem is I am 9stone now and have lost my muscle tone, so when my breast tissue is supported in these i have a weird lump that overspills.

I went to M&S to get measured and they weren't very helpful, they just said its because mlof my weightloss.

I think my back measurement is about 32/34 then my cup size used to be an F but when my breast are lifted into a cup they just seem to either not fill it or spill over and my breasts look very 'crinkled'

I think I might have to try and go to another retailer or try a different M&S as its wasn't the most helpful experience.

In a similar situation to you, Op. These are great. Am wearing a large (am size 38 probably cup size DD).

What size do you order?
I think im about a 32D?

OP posts:
BotherThatKitty · 05/05/2026 09:08

M& S told me Inwas a 34D and the bra she fitted me for was OK so i bought 3 but when I tried an some 34D in any other style theybwere spilling over.

But if I go any bigger I have a weird gap because all my breast tissue is tubular not round iykwm? Its all the the bottom of the cup

The best/most supportive ones are Bravado, IMO. The company's not actually trading any more but you can still find plenty online at other retailers.

I know that wrinkled look !
Lost a lot of weight ( but back on that journey again 😒 ) I found that if the cup was quite formed i.e padded , they sat , flat and wrinkled in the bottom on the cup with a void and space above . Is that what you are talking about ?
I found a good brand non wired / non padded bra in the correct size filled out the cup .
try Glamorise brand , or look at Brazissimo has on offer . Good luck .

I’m in the same boat, lost 6st, I’m living in Feelingirl bras, most comfortable thing ever and I’ve always struggled as big-boobed but these actually fit really well.

i bought the first one from TikTok and another from Amazon

I love Lemonade Dolls bras. They have one that fits A-D, then a fuller cup version. The push up bra is good too - there’s a video on their site which shows a woman braless, hanging low in a vest top, then afterwards, with the bra on. Very impressed.

Never heard of this brand and just bookmarked it, thank you!

I’ve just bought myself an M&S body soft, non wired bra which is very light and comfortable… but it creates a ‘shelf’ look with no separation, boobs bunched together and the material isn’t cotton. The lack of air reaching my cleavage causes sweat 😖 I don’t know whether I need a larger cup or if this problem is caused by the style.

LosingMyPumpkins · 05/05/2026 09:39

I fear / suspect I’ll be in a similar situation soon (it’s already going that way).

I’ve lost about 30 kg and have an other 20 (maybe 25??) kilos to go. My breasts have always been massive and heavy (at any weight) so… yeah. I’m basically rambling to simply explain why I’m place marking 😅

(I’m also saving for a breast lift but there are some family planning considerations that I have to take into account as well. So I’m definitely stuck with my breast for the next few years…)

@BotherThatKitty , I’m 63 5’1” and I lost 6 stone which is a big loss on my tiny frame. I would describe my breasts as spaniel ears now. I feel your pain. I had to experiment with those bras at first I bought a medium and it didn’t suit me at all but then I tried small and played around with the straps and back fastening until I found my fit. It might be worth having an experiment. Good luck!

DuellingBanjos · 05/05/2026 09:49

@HatStickBoots they are stocked in John Lewis now, if you want to try on first.
I lost a load of weight too, and went from plain black Oddballs type underwear to this brightly coloured (but still comfortable) stuff!

HeidiLite · 05/05/2026 09:50

If M&S said you're 34D then you probably aren't, they can't fit. You may need a smaller back and bigger cup.

I planned to get a breastlift via a loan but unfortunately my car was written off in an accident and I had to get a loan for a car instead so am unlikely to get approved again for another :(

Uniqlo bra tops are great and chantelle do lots of non wired bras that are comfy

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 05/05/2026 10:26

I have 2 different M&S ones and a Tu Sainsbury’s bralette. Both are excellent. I’m a GG.

Koulibiak · 05/05/2026 10:36

The Calvin Klein non wired bras are very comfy, the elastic band is of a much better quality than M&S non wired. They sometimes have them heavily discounted at TK Maxx.

Oh no, I’m so sorry:/ I am in the very lucky financial position of technically being already able to afford one now (I just need to make sure that it stays that way, so I’m being careful with money).

But I have more weight to lose and I really want to be a mother (and my Husband a father), so a breast lift just doesn’t make sense now.

right now things are still mostly okay boob wise (they’re really annoying but they can be wrestled into an aesthetically appealing shape!) but if / when I manage to lose the other 20 kilos… 😐😱

so I will (obviously!) hope that conception and pregnancy go smoothly. Knowing that it’s going to get worse and that I will have to wait years until I can get a breast lift… it really sucks!

(My wish for motherhood is considerably stronger than my wish for non-saggy boobs, so it is what it is. But it would be lovely if I could have both at the same time 🤣)

ConverselyAttired · 06/05/2026 12:35

I am a 32FF and I have a Lemonade Dolls bra (Elphaba). It's comfy but you do get quad-boob after an hour or so, so not great under anything fitted.

My best is a Bravissimo Zara bralette. Highly recommend for a fitting. They don't have much stock online at the moment.

https://www.bravissimo.com/products/zara-bralette-ln605/

Please don't try another M&S. They barely have any 32 backs so will tell everyone they are 34C or D as they have loads of stock.

Zara Bralette by Bravissimo | White | Non Wired Bra

This non-wired bralette is a most-loved favourite and thanks to its comfort and support, you can wear it all day, every day (yes really!). This style fastens at the back like a normal bra, so it’s easy to get into!

Same, 6 stone lost. I am now a 36E

Bought these and they are superb. Very comfy and you can remove the pads

I occasionally wear them out, but still wear my underwired bras to work, etc

Decent lift and as I say really comfortable. I have them in various colours - they also act as a cami-cover up look at the cleavage, which is good while wearing lower cut tops.
