Aquazzura shoes - sizing

Eyeing up a pair of very lightly worn Aquazzura heels but I’m not sure how they run size wise.
If it’s helpful my louboutins are a 38.5 and spot on.
Whilst I'd love to buy new, budget doesn’t run that far but equally I’m a bit hesitant to still spend quite a chunk of money when I can’t return them!

They're TTS in my experience. How familiar are you with the brand, a friend unknowingly bought fake Aquazzuras thinking they were secondhand? Aside from the poorer workmanship they were also much smaller, ask the seller to measure the insole at the very least.

They are true to size. I am 38.5 so a 5 in any shoes is usually tight on me, and 6 is way too big. I had 5-6 aquazzura heels/boots/sandals over the years as my husband kept buying them for me for some reason and 38.5 was spot on. I once got a size 39 flat sandals as 38.5 were sold out and they were too big unfortunately.

Never had any sizing issues, and find them more comfy than most.

@botemp handy tip, without being thick, how does the insole measurement help/how can I check what it should be?

The Asian market's shoe sizes are expressed in millimeters (eg. size 38 is 240, ie for a 24cm foot, the actual insole measure will be slightly larger as otherwise it will be really tight).

There should be a size conversion chart on the brand website you can also check so it allows you to crosscheck it all to a point.

You can also trace your own feet on a piece of paper and measure it for added assurance that they'll fit, there's plenty of tutorials how to do it and it's not very hard.

If it's a high heel slingback or any high heel, go half a size down. The SA at Aquazurra was spot on about this with me

@Isanyonereallyanonymous he doesn’t get me aquazzura heels anymore 🥲 I now get practical things like nike trainers for the gym or a water filter…

If buying Aquazzura heels, I have always bought half a size bigger as I like to put add a leather half sole - am a 37.5, so buy a 38. In their flats, I stick to 37.5.

Aquazzura are way more comfortable than Louboutins.
