Nappy changes - Hi all, I’m just looking to gather some opinions on how you’d all handle this situation if you could please, all opinions welcome. So I’m TTC currently, sadly I don’t have a mom I can ask for advice from or anyone close to me as she did pass away and I have no immediate family to ask. A friend of my moms who has known me from when I was a kid just had a baby herself, so I did ask her if I could watch a nappy change and she refused me outright, I’ve had comments like ‘we can’t trust you’ ( it’s not a new relationship she’s known me for years ) or practice on a doll or just wait until your pregnant a health visitor will talk you through it or a midwife. So knowing I don’t have a mom or anyone close to me I can ask besides this one friend, would you have had the same reaction? Or would you have welcomed me in with open arms? ( to also add I do respect the whole privacy aspect with nappy changes ) thank you to anyone who replies in advance I look forward to hearing your opinions.
