ID'd for laxatives at 30

Why do I need ID to buy laxatives? I am so constipated and bloated. I tried to explain to the clerk that I'm 30 and have a buy to let mortgage.

Dont know why you need to tell anyone about buy to let morgage.
Just show your ID get what you need and go home.

Because people abuse laxatives. My dd is 19 and has a mortgage i don't see what thats got to do with anything. Just carry your id

I got ID'd when I bought teaspoons in Tesco. Another time, I bought a ruler and a note came up to make sure I was taking it home in a secure bag.

But anyway, people can and do buy laxatives with the mistaken belief that they aid with weight loss.

Well that's me fucked. I have id, but no buy to let mortgage. I didn't know it was needed to but laxatives

DH and I were IDd in B&M this week as he was buying a hacksaw. It amused us hugely as we are both over 60 and retired. They didn't ask to see ID - but they called a supervisor over to have a hard look at us and 'authorise' it.

We debated all the way home how you 'authorised' someone buying a hacksaw. Did they check we didn't look like we were going to go on a killing spree? Or cut up a body with it? Did DH look like a carpenter? Did I?

Hahahahaha. They had to check you didn't look the sort to murder. I suppose you should interpret it as praise that the manager perceived you to be wholesome looking people.

For some purposes the ID isn't about age, but about tracking the consumption volume. If you need some once, it's ok. If you'd need some every week, it might require prescription.
