Kemi on Reform:.
‘A lot of the people who are in Reform are either people we kicked out, you know, like that guy in Essex who was showing his dick pics everywhere, his genitals, people we kicked out, or people who were causing problems that we didn’t want or people who defected.’ (The Essex man denies having sent a picture of his genitals and says he resigned from the Tory party.)
Badenoch attacks Farage for missing the Veterans’ Bill vote in parliament. ‘That’s what would happen if he ever got anywhere near Downing Street. He just wouldn’t turn up. This stuff is hard work… It’s not just about campaigning; it is about doing the day job as well.’

Kemi on anti-semitism:
Badenoch is keen to show she is very much here for the hard yards. Her arrival in Suffolk comes after an early morning slot on the Today programme where she lacerated Labour for not doing more to tackle anti-Semitism. The previous day, she went viral after standing up to British Jews against a heckler in Billericay. ‘The people who have died and who have been killed were Jewish people in synagogues,’ she told protestors, referencing last year’s Manchester attack. ‘Let’s stop pretending that something else is happening.’ The exchange has now been viewed several million times online.

Kemi on Keir:
After Thursday, is she worried that Keir Starmer’s party could do deals at a local level to accommodate those with anti-Semitic views? ‘I would like to hope that the Prime Minister can do better than that. He’s been saying that he wants to help tackle this. If he does any sort of deal with people who are knowingly anti-Semitic, I think that will go horribly wrong for him.’ Her criticism is one of priorities, suggesting the PM is too weak to take necessary action like proscribing the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. ‘What Keir Starmer is thinking about now is how to survive in his job. He’s in a very bad place. I haven’t really seen him on the campaign trail. Nobody wants him to come and help.’

I agree, I have been really impressed with Kemi of late. She talks sense. Labour under Kier Starmer have been such a disappointment to me, a lifelong labour voter. I would consider voting conservative with Kemi in charge.

How exactly is she talking sense? She hasn’t outlined a plan or policies just criticism of everybody else.

Kemi on gender woo (dated but shows she was on it earlier than most):

Her views on autism are appalling and Cass has highlighted how damaging the weaponising of trans children is.

No not really, most share policies. She has none.

according to you, what is there to be commended that Labour have done?

ilovesooty · 06/05/2026 21:50

As I said before I'd like the party to provide credible opposition. She's not the sort of politician I want to see leading it.

Bringing safety to Jews and Christians
Restricting muslim marches
Protecting women through stopping the boats
etc etc etc - the list goes on

There is no way on earth I’d vote for Conservatives with Badenoch at the helm. Some of her views are deeply concerning. If the Tories want us to believe they’re middle ground, maybe have a middle ground leader for a start. When they provide a half decent leader instead of yet another in the shit show hall of fame I might be interested.

Those aren’t policies they’re jumping on the bandwagon, Islamaphobic statements. Why do Muslim marches have to be restricted and anybody that wants to get rid of statutory maternity pay isn’t protecting women.

The Tories have been saying stop the boats for 14 years. The boats increase under Tories. They had 14 years and did nothing but let them increase hugely. It’s getting boring now- yada yada.

I have respect for some of the previous one nation Tories but Johnson purged the party of any who remained. I have no time for Badenoch at all.

Are they - what’s she said? All that I’ve seen is that there’s some over diagnosis and this has lead to some over labelling of disability.

Rishi started the Rwanda plan - which was actually working. Starmer stopped it when it was all in place, taxes had paid for it. Foolish chap. Not for the first time, nor the last.

And wrt 'Islamophobia' - as HermioneWeasley said '

Islamophobia” is a term made up by the Muslim brotherhood to deflect legitimate questioning of Islamic extremism. For example 75% of Mi5’s watch list are Muslim.

All the attacks on British Jews have been carried out by Muslims.

Pakistani Muslim grooming gangs used allegations of racism to keep operating.
Cousin marriage is causing material strain on the NHS in parts of the UK. We need to be able to discuss these things.

Middle Eastern countries are baffled as to why we tolerate extremism.

if you think Israel is more of a problem than Iran, Russia, China or the Taliban then you come across as motivated by anti semitism.'

Somebody who thinks maternity leave and pay has “gone too far” isn’t remotely interested in women’s rights.
