Would I be an idiot to take this through airport security?

I have recently started taking creatine and am finding it so beneficial. I am going away for 5 nights next week and want to take some with me. The packet it comes in is massive. Would I be stupid to take some in a small plastic bag like this in my hand luggage ( I don’t have a hold bag) or will I be detained?

Depends where you’re flying from and into, but most airport security takes a dim view of unidentifiable tablets or pills.

If you do carry it on like that be prepared to be pulled over and be asked lots of questions, as well as possibly having it confiscated.

Can you put the extra tablets in a bag and only take what you need in the original container?
Otherwise buy a smaller container as a one off for this trip.
Might so be worthwhile taking screenshots of info from the website showing exactly what you're talking and that it matches up with what you have if the container is opened.

Only if you want to be detained and miss your flight. That will not go through security, it looks way too sus, and the police will likely be called, who will detain you until they have tested the substance and confirmed what it is.

I'd be thinking you'll be increasing your chances of ending up being body searched so unless you fancy that I'd avoid white powders in baggies at an airport.

You absolutely can do this, I did it with a plastic cup of collagen. I showed them my recipe on shaving and they tested it. Absurdly fine and added another 2 monies to the entire process.

I always take a dodgy looking bag of vitamins and supplements - usually in my hand luggage. Never been stopped.

Yes I’ve always taken all my vitamins and other supplements which are tablets in a little bag with no issues, I’m not confident about white powder!
