Anyone else have a soft spot for Yungblood?

I'm irresistibly drawn to Yungblood. I'm old enough to be his grandmother, perhaps it's a Mum crush, and I'm thinking along the lines of he'd be a lovely son.
Do you like or dislike him? and why?

I am also old enough to be his mum and I think he’s adorable. He seems like a really kind and caring person who is lovely to his fans. And a very talented musician as well.
i wouldn’t mind my daughter bringing him home 😊

butteronmyface · 06/05/2026 21:13

Love him. He’s the nicest human and so amazingly talented.

Iloveeverycat · 06/05/2026 21:14

I think he comes across as a very down to earth lovely young man. I'm in my 60s

TheLittleSunnyCat · 06/05/2026 21:22

In my sixties and regularly do my exercises to Low Life love it (admittedly I don’t know much about him as a person but love the music)

Poodlelover25 · 06/05/2026 21:23

I am old enough to be his mum (and then some) but went see him at the o2. I was not the oldest person there. The age range was from tweens to people in their 70s. He is a fantastic showman and seemed genuinely overwhelmed/touched by the number people in the arena.

Rosa1211 · 06/05/2026 21:32

I've found my people. He is so open and quite vulnerable I think. I'm 70 and wouldn't mind bringing him home: to feed him up you understand . A couple of months ago he wasn't even on my radar and after seeing clips of his North American tour I'm hooked.

Ha! I really need to spell his name correctly.

I didn't know much about him but saw the Louis Theroux interview - he does seem like he's trying to be a decent human being. It's worth watching.

Yungbud says he is pansexual, so it might be your son who brings him home.

There’s a nice video where he’s cooking a sunday roast for his friends. It’s very sweary but he can obviously cook reasonably well and it’s quite wholesome.

ManufacturedConcerns · 06/05/2026 23:30

I think he's lovely, although he's a bit sweary for me. He seems like a genuinely decent human being though.

Amybelle88 · 06/05/2026 23:36

Love him. Absolutely bloody love him.

FrayaMorstater · 07/05/2026 01:37

Find him physically unattractive. I just can’t stand him, he’s lied about his background for a start. He is l an upper middle class privately educated school boy who LARPs as working class and constantly talks about oppression - that he has never even experienced. Pansexual/ queer 🥱
He also didn’t stand up for his friend MGK, when interviewed by Kelly and Sharon Osborne, too busy sucking up to them.

canuckup · 07/05/2026 02:05

Oh yeah

And he's from Hull or somewhere too which is great

PrincessOfWhales · 07/05/2026 02:22

Csnt stand him. Always posing with his mouth in an annoying 'edgy' ROAR position. Really pisses me off. And his music is shite!

bornwithhorns · 07/05/2026 02:29

Really always liked Dom but as a huge Mgk fan for years , really disappointed with how he let Sharon and Kelly talk shit about him .. Mgk thought they were really close friends

FriendshipDynamic · 07/05/2026 02:52

Not a fan of his music but from personal experience he’s a decent bloke

Is this on Instagram please? I can't seem to get enough of him!

I thought he was unbearable in that louis theroux documentary

bruffin · 07/05/2026 17:44

I was at the filming of Portrait Artist of the Year last year when he was on it. I knew my DS was a big fan (even dressed as him for a fancy dress party) but didnt know anything about him really.
He was really lovely , lot of jokes by Stephen Manghan about they thought he wouldnt be able to sit still for so long but he managed it. He was really thoughtful when chosing the painting etc , he came across really well.

Malasana · 07/05/2026 17:52

The eye contact he gives fans is perfect. I think I love him - again old enough to be his mum.

Lugol · 07/05/2026 17:54

I used to live a few doors down from him and his parents until they sold their house. It was gorgeous, beautifully decorated.
Used to see him about loads when he was home.
Seemed a nice enough bloke.

I don't know much about him but his Ozzy Osbourne tribute was fabulous.

Unfortunately his "rock" persona seems a bit forced to me. Don't really even know why I think that either, it just doesn't seem natural the way it goes with the people he idolises. Sort of like a copycat maybe?
