Association for Post Natal Illness
The Association provides a telephone helpline. information leaflets for sufferers and healthcare professionals as well as a network of volunteers, (telephone and postal), who have themselves experienced postnatal illness.
British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
BACP is the major professional body for counselling and psychotherapy in the UK. Lists of local counsellors can be obtained from the on-line Counselling and Psychotherapy Resources Directory on the BACP website or are obtainable in paper form on request to the Information Service.

An informative selection of topics including emotional health, disorders and conditions, coping techniques, supporting and caring , therapy and therapists and understanding drugs.
Mental Health Foundation
The Mental Health Foundation exists to help people survive, recover from and prevent mental health problems.
MoodGYM
MoodGYM is a free, interactive internet-based program designed to prevent and decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety. MoodGYM consists of five intereactive modules, which contain information, animated demonstrations, quizzes and 'homework' exercises.
Sane
SANE is a national mental health charity which aims to raise awareness of mental illness, campaign to improve services and initiate and fund research into the causes of serious mental illness through its research centre. SANELINE 0845 767 8000 (open every day) is a national helpline providing emotional support and information to those experiencing mental health problems, their families, carers and professionals.
