I remember the ROGD webinar last November and it was very good. There are a lot of videos in the Genspect Youtube channel about ROGD, it seems like a good idea to raise awareness of this issue atm? twitter.com/genspect/status/1559509146092949505?t=EIt4-d7J1v6V368Yy3xHzw&s=19

I'm delighted to know that there's a ROGD day, 16 August. The issue of teenage girls suddenly deciding they're trans or non-binary, along with half their peer group, raises a massive red flag.

Yet it is determinedly ignored by those who insist the girls must be affirmed in the 'gender' they've suddenly discovered. It should be widely discussed and properly researched. One of many huge fails in responsible adults' treatment of teenagers who could have numerous reasons to be confused or troubled.

Well done to those promoting awareness of this important issue.

Do you think the concept of ROGD is getting into the public @ThinkingaboutLangClegosaurus ? I feel detransitioners has got into the mainstream but not ROGD. It surprises me

Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria should be talked about s much more. I know trans charities and trans you tubers claim it doesn't exist but it certainly helps me understand the over representation of girls.
I really wish some good resources could be put together to share in the parents of autistic girls circles as so many parents only know to affirm and don't much like parents like me in their groups offering an alternative like watchful waiting.

TRAs vehemently deny the existence of ROGD.
In fact, a leading gender identity academic who coined the phrase was completely cancelled, her work was defunded and her "books were burned".

We need to fight back. It does exist. It needs to be studied and talked about as a matter of urgency.
