Shipping Boxes to the UK (from the US)

I'm in a panic!

I want to ship a few (4?) medium sized boxes to the UK - containing books, DVDs and DS toys - and I don't want to pay very much!

Can anyone recommend a company? I looked at parcel2go but they seem not to do it any more (or maybe they do and I read it wrong)

I don't need a partial container, just a few boxes.

I'm in a flap, please help.

I think Fedex might be a good option for you, or why not even good old USPS. Would you need it there in a rush. I"ll ask my mum who they used for their suitcases when they came over. That could be the option. They sent them in advance. It think it was FEDEX they used.

Shall check. Looks like P2G only deliver to US now not pick up like they used to. Sorry. Shall keep loking for you. DHL is another option but depends what you want to pay. I'm thinking suitcases and perhaps excess baggage could be a cheaper solution. Find out from an airline.

Can't work FEDEX site - DHL''ll do a 55lb box for 175. Willl look into exce4ss baggage at airline.

USPS usually works out the cheapest. Excess baggage is pricy. DP's family always buy too much stuff on holiday there and end up shipping boxes to here as it is cheaper than paying excess baggage.

Thanks.

I still can't use the FedEx site [incompetent] nor can I figure out a price with USPS [useless]

I used USPS when i have bought in the US as much less streeful than jamming it into my luggage.

M-Bags can be used for books / printed matter and Discs.

Here as you scroll down it gives you a guide as to different ways of shipping and the cost and size guidelines. (10lb = 6kgs)

They suggested FedEx or USPS, but they have only used containers.

Thanks for all the help.

USPS is the same price as DHL so I think I'll just send a few essentials for DS with them.

Hi,

We have two options at Parcel2Go.com for sending items from the USA to the UK. A direct shipping option or you can buy a USA address and have items forwarded there before onward shipping to the UK. Prices etc. can be found at www.parcel2go.com/import-services.aspx or you can email me directly at [email protected].

Hope this helps

Kindest regards
Sammy Chandler.
