Has anyone ordered a photo mug from truprint?

And if so, does it look odd? I ordered one last week (on offer) and its arrived but the photos aren't centred so there is more white space on one side of the mug handle than the other, if that makes sense.

They tell me is normal and so they won't reprint, but it looks rubbish and NOT how it looked in the preview.

Am I allowed to ask to return /refund do you think?

I've ordered 2 from Truprint, the one has colour all the way round as it is full of photos, the other has, like you describe, more white on one side that the other- I believe this is because the photos didn't take up the maximum space. It is annoying but it's the way they do it, probably so if you only have one or two photos they sit at the front or back of the mug and rather than going round the side. Sorry I can't be more help.

Mine are the same and in hindsight I should have put more photos on. I'm not too bothered though as it's the thought that counts!

I ordered one, but with only one photo so it doesn't have the issue that you describe.

Bugger. I had put about 12 photos on (collage style) so thought that should be enough. Mine really does look bad, and definitely not good enough to gift. Wonder whether to try again with just the one photo then? Really disappointed Sad. Suppose that's what you get with online shopping!

I have the same problem. TRUPRINT SAY "The mug has been printed correctly as they are designed for the image to be viewed best when the mug is held right handed.

Unfortunately I am not able to have the mug printed any other way as this is how our templates are set up."

They later say. . .

"If you are unhappy with the mug, then you can return it to us using our Freepost address below for a refund:"

Contact [email protected] which goes to [email protected] before sending off to register your annoyance.

Consider other online printers with deals PhotoBox, ASDA, MoonPig, SnapFish, TESCO etc. Probaly goes to the same place anyway!

Good luck.

Nearly all the supermarkets use the same company for their photos and of the one that doesn't, they use the same templates/processes/machines... I know someone who works there...
