How we tested the Iora Air Co-sleeper

The Maxi-Cosi Iora Air is the latest version of the classic Iora bedside crib, offering extra breathability with its mesh sides without compromising on the overall look and sturdy, safe design.

Our parent-tester Lauren tried the crib out over a period of several weeks both before her baby's arrival - assessing it for ease of construction and space-saving features - and once her baby girl was born.

What's included in the box?

The Iora arrived well-packaged with a travel bag and instructions. While it did require some assembly, Lauren said, 'It was very easy to understand the instructions and it only took around 5 to 10 minutes to put up.'

I am very pleased with the Iora Air. Our daughter has slept so well in it from day one. It's easy to adjust to the height which works for us and it has plenty of settings to change if needed or as she gets older.

With a sturdy-feeling design and fully breathable sides, the Iora has been designed with safety in mind. Lauren said that it felt very safe to use and that she was "fully at ease with the safety" of it.

What are the different features of the Iora Air Co-sleeper crib?

The Iora Air has several different features including five different height adjustment settings, a slide function to move the bassinet closer to the parent bed and straps to secure to the parent's bed too. It also features invisible wheels for ease of positioning and a rocking function which you activate by turning the bar attaching the legs the other way round.

You can also adjust the height to raise one end higher than the other if your baby suffers from reflux or congestion.

Maxi-cosi Iora Air

We have a Maxi-Cosi Iora Air and it’s great. It was recommended to us by three different friends who had used it with their babies including one who had the Chicco with their first and much preferred this for their second. [Our] 6-week-old baby seems happy in it and very easy to set up, etc.
