Long nicknames will get truncated on some pages so try to keep it less than 18 characters.

• If you'd like to see recommmendations from local Mumsnetters about your area, please give us your postcode.
• Mumsnet has a facility to allow you to find other Mumsnetters local to you. If you'd like other Mumsnetters to see your Talk nickname in the lists of local mums, please answer Yes here.

• It helps us to keep the site free to use if you give us some basic demographic information. This helps us to sell advertising space. We absolutely, categorically do not pass your email address to anyone else. Privacy Policy

• Mumsnet offers regular emails through your pregnancy, and on your child's development over time. If you'd be interested in receiving either of these, please tell us whether you are pregnant, and whether you already have kids.
