I normally crochet my wooly hug squares but fingers are a bit more mobile at the moment (rheumatoid and osteo arthritis) so wanted to chance a knitted square. Can someone give me rough idea of how many to cast on and roughly how many rows for a 6" square, knitted in stocking stitch? Please?

This should help Woolly Hugs crafting guide for knitters

On 4mm needles the average is 33 stitches and 45 rows.

Love the way I look at this, as if I'd have a clue Grin

I second the crafting guide though

Thanks
