We have heard the dreadfully sad and shocking news that SurvivalOfTheUnfittest's husband died suddenly towards the end of April. We send Survival our love and are so sorry for her loss. She, their boys, family and friends are in our hearts and thoughts.
She calls her family Team Survival, and we have offered to make them a blanket, and hope it may give whatever comfort it can. We are so pleased she has accepted, there will be love for all of them crafted into every stitch. Survival's thread is here
So we are now asking for help once again
I will co ordinate and Knotty (KnottyLocks) will help you with any queries you may have. We need crocheters, knitters and donors (of funds or wool) Sincere heartfelt thanks. If you would like to be involved in any way, please post on this thread and PM me with your offers: crafting, donating, need wool, etc, I can help you with all of it.
Thank you so much
The wool we are using

- Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK (being discontinued, but still some around)

Suggestions for personalisations and motifs
*Her DH loved football and designed Land Rovers for a living.
*They all very much love the great outdoors, so themes from nature.
*Forget-me-not flowers in particular are very significant.
*Their two boys love teddies and Lego.
*They also love Angry Birds - if you think this could be you, please PM
*We have their initials, if you would like to help with this, please also PM.
Squares to be six inches, using 4mm needles or hook.
Simple or complex, made by beginner or expert, we genuinely welcome them all. It really is the love and thought that counts.
