Just had a lovely visit from Ratherbeonthepiste who brought me the beautiful blanket that you lovely people have made for me. It was lovely to me her, she's a really lovely lady :)

I've just sat and looked through my blanket again and I cannot believe all the work that must have gone into it, and all the thoughts, it means such an incredible amount to me. It's totally gorgeous. The colours are wonderful and the squares are all so beautiful and vibrant. I love every single one of them. There are butterflies, teddies, stars, angel, cat, initials of all the children, flowers, leaves and so many amazing colours; I'm sure I'll be noticing new things all the time :)

Thank you all so, so much. It is truly wonderful and will get many cuddles. For those that might not know, I'm 30 weeks pregnant today with another little girl so my intention is to use it for her also, which I hope is ok (fingers crossed all going well). I'm due to have her in 6/7 weeks time :) It's not been an easy time, far from it, so this has come at a most appropriate point for me.

I'll get some photos taken later on hopefully and upload them as well. I cannot get over how beautiful it is, it feels amazing too, so soft. Thank you all again and thanks to the lovely Ratherbeonthepiste for bringing it to me. xxx

Morning Cheese Brew

It was really lovely to meet you and Mr Cheese Smile yesterday morning, thank you so much for your hospitality. It was a real privilege to be able to give you your blanket on behalf of everyone. So many contributed to it in different ways, it really is an enormous woolly hug with whole lot of love worked into it. I'm so glad you like it.
Xx

How lovely, that made my eyes damp.

Can't believe you are 30 weeks already cheese Shock

That is lovely. Glad you like Cheese.

And a big well done to Knotty for putting it together. It only becomes a woolly hug when somebody puts all those squares together and she did a great job. Without her, the squares aren't so much a woolly hug as a woolly reassuring pat on the shoulder which isn't quite the same thing. Grin

Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy too. Smile

Ah Cheese! That's a lovely blanket, well done to all the crafters who donated squares and to Knotty who put it all together!

So glad things are still going well for you Cheese - I have everything crossed for you that it stays that way, but I'm sure it will!

Stay well lovely x

Thanks for sharing it with us Cheese

Huge credit to Knotty for putting it together! I have not long finished my first blanket and was surprised at how long each row and column took to make up.

Best wishes for bump! :)

Oh definitely huge thanks to Knotty also, I can see the work that must have gone into putting it all together and I am very grateful to her for doing it. It is most definitely a work of art and I shall always treasure it.

Thanks for the well wishes, I have 6/7 weeks to go as I'll be having her early, by whichever means necessary! A lot will depend on how I'm coping, baby's size as I have gestational diabetes and on insulin, how my blood sugar is looking etc so we'll have to see. Certainly having a lot of braxton hicks!

Hello Cheese - it was an honour to be part of 'Project Cheese' as I'm such a fan of the stuff, especially on crackers Wink

On a serious note, your daughter looks so very peaceful in the photographs on your page, here's hoping that this pregnancy continues to go without a hitch and your daughter arrives all safe and sound xx

I'll be thinking of you, keep us posted Smile
