Women vote for the charming candidate.

Tory MP Conor Burns said: 'Salmond's bullying and hectoring tone towards Darling may explain why more women are voting No. Very unattractive debating style. No humour.'

Just read this, regarding last night's debate on the Scottish Referendum and it truly made my blood boil.

How can this type of narrative happen in 2014?

Oh, I can see where they're coming from.

Our silly lady brains can't see policies, directions or consequences.

We just like nice men in nice suits.

Because individual women are actually homogeneous.

Err, maybe women are voting no because they have actually thought through the issues?

Of course not, because lady brains can't think can they?

FFS

PS - I confess I do think the word bombastic must have been invented especially to describe Salmond No other word quite describes him Grin

I agree grimble tart, I had to turn over to the football as they were both annoying me so much. Good thing the attractiveness theory is bollocks or else I wouldn't be voting at all.

I hope you didn't miss the shot of her wearing her loom bracelet, just to highlight how she's living life for her kids Seven. I'd hate you to go off thinking a woman is worth more than her parenting. Wink

Thinking of name changing to DepressedJock...

Was she going to make her decision about how to vote with the loom bands? or was she going to listen to "that man on the telly"?

And the zooming in on her wedding ring! And the implication that she only started thinking about it because her husband encouraged her to!

I should keep a portable brick wall in my rucksack.

I am voting no in the referendum and had a ok quite a few rants last night on my fb about the debate. Logged on to three shares of the vid this evening. My Indy-loving pals know how to take a goby feminist down.

Actually, that reminds me I forgot to ask DP how he's voting. It's either him or 'the man on the telly'.

First time ever Alistair Darling is described as charming! No vote here so been 'enjoying' my immersion in Indydebate during my summer holiday visiting my family. Mum's threatening to come and live with us if Salmond wins.

The survey MN's linking to is asking MNers to choose whether Alistair Darling is 'charming' etc. But thankfully there's an 'other' box so you can put 'has been fearmongering for decades' or similar.
It also asks which option you think will be best for your family, but not which will be best for you yourself, or for women.
