Kidnap not an issue to police and social services!!

My relationship recently finally broke down after 4 very long years ... my ex and I share one daughter 3 yrs old and I also have one 7 yr old daughter from a previous relationship who has emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Last weekend my ex vanished with both children and refused me any contact with them ... he has made false allegations to social services and the police refused to act even in the case of my 7 yr old who he has no legal responsibility for! !! Today he has returned to the house and has locked the children inside closed all windows and curtains and will not open the door... the police and social services refuse to act .. apparently it is fine for a man to just pick up and take away someone else's child these days!!!!!!

I find that hard to believe. The police generally take kidnap very seriously.

Well I'm now sat outside his house with the police telling me they won't come out... but as he is planning to run off again with the children then I refuse to leave
