"When I first began wearing these shoes I thought my reproductive rights were secure. Turns out, I couldn't have been more wrong. " :o

I love the one that said "Rosa sat; Wendy stood."

Just also realized they have my usually impossible-to-find 10.5 Narrow. Hmmm.

Brilliant. Some people are so clever Envy but Grin. I am not much of a radical but this creeping attack on something so fundamental to women's freedom is radicalising me.

Same here. I realise I've been a bit complacent about women's rights.
I have a fab husband and motivated kids so its easy to forget the shit that misogynists do

then again (utterly outing self here) the chap who asked me if my husband approved of me working backed without taking his eyes off me after I "smiled" at him

talking peace

if only that was enough to out you! Sad

you'll find many women have had that or very similar, (is your husband OK with you doing shifts/ is you husband OK with you leaving him home with the baby etc)

tee hee - I know its common : I've been spoilt because Accountancy is pretty egalitarian (you either pass those darned exams or you don't)
what amused me was his reaction to my "smile"
he apologised when I was back there the next year Grin

sorry I haven't slept for days, irony is a bit beyond me right now Blush

This is a bit shallow, but is my thread a discussion of the day!? Grin
