that's it so far. It doesn't include the section on the sex industry yet

Hi Julia, I thought you were quiet! I have just had a quick read. Very good, I particularly agree with the statement "This implies that inequality is the result of irrational attitudes. More importantly, it suggests that after removing/correcting mistaken ideas, equality is possible without changing anything else in the existing economic/social system" Nothing can be changed unless the real structural stuff, the economic base is challenged.

The only thing I was unclear on when I read it was "TUSC supports accessible state provision of childcare for all who want it" does this mean free state provision? Is accessible the same as free?

Hey Mini

yes, it means free
accessible means in terms of impairments and that fits with transport, work etc

TUSC ISN will be on TUC march on Saturday - are you?

I am not in favour of criminalising women. I think if the material conditions of women's lives were to be improved then fewer would be exploited.

Would you abolish the entire sex industry? How could this be done?

not in favour of criminalising women, def
am in favour of criminalising men (Swedish model)
focus on theharm done by pimps/punters
punters say public identification would be a deterrent :)

Yes public shaming.....having the added benefit that any wife/partner will know who she is living with.

Did you go on the march yesterday? I will take a look at the FB

I didn't go on the march Sad I really would have liked to but no one to have the children. Although DS who is 11 would have enjoyed it and already has plenty to say !
