Gridgirls - would you boycott a sport that used them?

My brother is a big speedway fan, and along with a lot of other motorsports, it uses gridgirls (young women in tight clothing who go around waving flags).

Would you boycott such a sport? How about American sports that uses Cheerleaders, which at first glance is perhaps a bit more benevolent

i'm not fond of the cheerleaders they very occassionally have at rugby union matches, but i wouldn't boycott rugby because of them.

usually, when they have cheerleaders, they're a secondary school team and all about 11/12 and not dressed skimpily (this is scotland in winter).

mostly instead of cheerleaders they have little kids teams playing which i'm happy to say usually contain a small number of girls among the boys.
