That's it, really. Smile I can't remember who it was, but if it was you, thanks very much.

I enjoyed reading those Guardian feminist columns by Jill Tweedie too.

Have you read her sequel "More from Martha"?

By the way, I don't think it was me who recommended them to you (although I would gladly have done so). I'm just another satisfied reader.

Yes, I got the book that came with More from Martha included as well.

I don't think I remember Guardian columns by Jill Tweedie - off to search Guardian archives, thanks!

It is a great book, isn't it?! Grin

Erm, it might have been me? I love that book. I know I recommended it on the "underrated books" thread, but probably mentioned in this section too. It taught me a lot about how motherhood can trap women in a totally downtrodden state under certain circumstances. And made me laugh a hell of a lot too!

Or it might have been someone else, of course

Of course! I'm sure it was you, now you mentioned the thread. No wonder I couldn't find it, I was looking in Feminism. Btw, I haven't seen you around MN for a while - how are you doing? Smile

Oh I am definitely still here, but got a new job so haven't got as much time to be a massive slacker post on MN :)

How are you?

Really glad you enjoyed the book by the way. It's nice to be able to share something so brilliant :)

Ah, congratulations on new job! I too should wean myself off MN but it is just so tempting to procrastinate here instead of the dreaded work. That's the problem with being responsible for your own time .... you have to be responsible. Hmm

I did really like the book - I wish my mum would read it!
