That's awful. Good for her for having the guts to take it all the way to the Supreme Court.

I've not read all the comments after the more info link but some make me awfully glad to be this side of the pond... some of the attitudes...

Agree with both your posts Chibi. It is terrifying, dizzyingly scary when you realise that no-one is going to protect you, because you are only a woman. That's what it comes down to :(

I can't believe someone accused of rape, can be allowed to plead "down" to plain old assault. That is outrageous. She has been let down by the lawyers/court as well as the school. Hope she has lovely friends and parents to help her get through this.
