absolutely new to modern feminist theory and would love to get recommendations for starting points, particularly are there any modern books that deal with feminist theory/rhetoric particularly in regards to motherhood?

Thankyou!

thankyou - no, is the book club an online discussion?

Would be great if anyone does know of anything (even a chapter within a book) that might have links with feminism and motherhood, but will start collating a list from oher threads in the meantime, my library is small so top recommendations to get me started on an amazon wish list would rock

Smile. I first came across that book in a review on a feminism blog actually.

The Mommy Myth is great. It's a real (well-argued and evidenced) rant!
