Has Weight Watchers changed?

I lost weight using weight watchers about 6 years ago (when it was the switch program). I really need to lose half a stone in 4 weeks so was going to follow it again, but wondered if they'd updated it to reflect the popular low carb diets? If they have is it worth getting the new diet? Have tried following complete low carbs but I really feel I need portion control too.

It has changed to pro points now so it doesn't look at calories in order to work out the points. It encourages higher protein intake and lower carbs and fat intake. It's worth brushing up on the new stuff in my opinion but if the old ne works for yu then it's your choice. You don't have a huge amount t lose so if it worked in the past, it should do again. good luck.

Thanks MrsGyllenhaal it sounds like I might as well stick with the old for now. Just wondered if I was missing something miraculous (I wish!)

When I did it last year for a bit, there were recipes that I regularly ate from weightwatchers cookbooks, worth 7 odd points, which had been repointed under the new system as being my whole daily intake! Definitely lower carb, I thought.
