I need to lose 4-5lbs in 2.5 weeks...

Sounds easy doesn't it? But my weight loss has come to a total standstill! I had dd2 13 weeks ago. I was 11st 4lbs the day before she was born and am currently 9st 1lb. I need to squeeze into a dress for a wedding in a few weeks and out of principle I don't want to buy something new. I've been doing MFP thus far but for love or money my weight loss won't drop again. It's reached a plateau over the last month. Give me some quick fixes ladies!!

Cut out carbs sugar and wheat completely.

Meat
Fish
Vegetables
2 litre of water a day.

No fruit either.

Move as much as possible. It sounds crazy but even if you are saying, doing dishes walk on the spot.

Low carb for two weeks and you should lose it.
Basically no bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, cakes, sugar.
Bf yoghurt and berries or scrambled eggs and ham
L salad with cheese/ham/fish
D steamed green veg with chicken/fish or whatever you usually eat minus the pasta/potatoes and add salad instead.

I lost half a stone in a week and a half and am now following it not quite so strictly to maintain. It's good weather for this sort of eating as you can eat summer berries and salads which I wouldn't really fancy in the depths of winter!

If I fancy something sweet I have some 70% dark choc after a meal, just a square or two. I haven't been snacking constantly like I normally do. The first couple of days I was hungry but it soon went away.

You've reached a plateau, so you need to up the ante.

You haven't mentioned your age, height or whether you exercise (I am assuming you haven't got back to exercising yet), but to create a 5lb loss in 2 weeks is pretty simple math.

You need to create a calorie deficit of around 8750cals to lose 2.5lb of fat, you will lose about the same in water weight though, which will add up to a 5lb loss.

Cycling 5x a week at a brisk pace for 30 minutes will burn around 1750 calories a week, so 4375 calories in a 2.5wk period.

That will get you half way there.

To make up the rest of the deficit, cut around 250-300 calories from your current daily diet.

I got this method using this program and it works perfectly. It is almost 100% accurate and I have never missed a realistic goal weight.

If you want to then stay at that weight, here is the equation which will determine what calories on average you can consume daily:

Goal Weight in Pounds x (hours working out per week + 9.5) = Calories

So, if you work out 3 hours a week...

127 x (3+9.5) = 1587.5 calories per day

Bear in mind that calories are average per day, so if you consume more one day, reduce it by the same amount the next day. In my opinion this is by far the best way to live, as your diet is then flexible as long as you look at things on a weekly basis.

I hope that helps.

Sorry, that equation was for your current weight, for 122 pounds, working out 3 hours a week, it will be:

122 x (3=9.5) = 1525 calories per day.

It's drastic and not healthy but only eat protein and drink water for 2 weeks.
Or try one of those treatments where they wrap you in bandages and do stuff to you (not sure what) and you drop inches the day before you need to wear the dress.

Carbs are my friend too and I'm a constant snacker of cakes and biscuits plus I bake for a living!
And after a hard couple of days I got right into it.

Are you breastfeeding OP? You don't want to cut calories radically and affect your supply and you need to make sure you are eating regular intervals and getting enough fluids
