I'm happy to join. I work in kgs not stone though. No need to convert for me. I want to lose 10kg by October and I think doing it with someone will help. I need to increase my activity and watch my sugary intake. I'm 80kg at the moment.

I'm 5ft6 and the same - when I am a size 12 I think - happy days size 14 big fat cow!

Think 10 pounds loss would make me a definite size 12

Going to up date everyday with my food and exercise diary :)

Good luck everyone :)

Hello can I join? I'm 5ft 8 and 10st 10 so really want to lose that 10lb that's been chubbing around my tummy forever.

I'll join too if I may! Realistically, I'm not sure I need/want to lose as much as 10lbs, but 5 would be good for now! Going on hols end of August and hoping to lose some wobble before then.

I should join too. 10lbs would take me to my comfy weight! Need to commit to so erho g rather than thinking it will magically disappear

I will join you!
I'm 11st 4 Blush and want to get down to 10st 4,
but would be happy to lose 11lbs.

I can't seem to get my head in the right frame of diet.
Also, I'm great all week, then fall off the wagon at the weekend.

This is me! I want to shift at least 7, lat half stone to go, I've already lost 7 and getting fit and enjoying it.

Just had a medium bowl of pasta though..,,bloody dh! He made it just as I was returning from a session at the gym so out the window my healthy spinich and grilled chicken supper!

I need to switch it up at the gym And I think I'm going to try and just eat clean.

How to do it? I can't go low/no carbs. I always feel faint on low carbs, and didn't like 5:2, and am too stingy to join S World or Weightwatchers .
Any ideas?

'Eat Clean' sounds good and I would have no problem sticking to it during the week.
My biggest problem is my husband likes to eat out at least twice on the weekends and it always seems to undo all the good I've done during the week - it completely scuppers things
I think he is a secret feeder Angry

Yes, Monday weigh-ins sounds good! I am starting properly tomorrow
(having a last fling as we speak) - I've lost count of all the 'last flings' I've had before starting a diet :)
But, no more.

Water, I'm the same with low carbing; I practically sprout snakes around my head!
My Fitness Pal is quite q good app; you work out ypur TDEE then 'cut' it by 15% or whatever; any exercise you do gives you more calories.
Can't say I've ever followed it religiously, but it seems to work for some!
Will look into the 'clean eating' thing.

When you eat out, would you feel satisfied to try for a healthier option? I find taking the vegetarian option, a couple of sides with a starter. You can ask for sauces to be removed or have them in the side?

There was supposed to be an "or" in there, I don't eat all that!

Intermittent fasting is another way to try and treat yourself occasionally, so if you have go out for lunch, then just eat some kale chips for tea? ( they are surprisingly yummy!)

It can be done - I just need to be strong willed and NOT order the bread & butter pudding and have fruit salad instead :(
