Horse and Carriage

Hi ladies,

We haven't set a date for our wedding yet, because we are in the middle of a few big things, we are hoping for late next year/early 2015.

The only really big fancy thing i want, as a horse lover (I've been around horses from childhood) is a horse drawn carriage and i was wondering if anyone has had one at all?

My plan was This to take me and my bridesmaids to the wedding ceremony (So two adults and three girls aged 5 -6) and then me DF and the three little girls to the reception.

Something else i'd like, is This - 12 seater country carriage, to take my adult bridesmaid, OHs best man, OHs parents, brother SIL and their youngest, My parents, brothers, nephew and nephews mum to the reception.

Only im a bit confused about their cars. I'd sort of like it to be a surprise. Would you find it weird if i just told them not to drive to the ceremony? I really like it I just don't know how to go about it! WWYD?
