Has anybody on here got married there? I have fallen I love with the caves and can get married there.

However I am not local so am looking for ideas of where to hold a small reception. Looked up some places and it costs so much. I really want a relaxed reception without the formality that weddings can bring.

We will be limited to 38 guests at the cave as well so will be small.

thanks

We were on holiday near there last year and visited the caves - I think they'd be a great place for a wedding!

The Penycae Inn is just down the road. Any good?

Cant remember the name of the hotel but it is just down the road, they were doing a really good wedding package when we looked a couple of years ago
Not sure if the cafe resturant at the caves does receptions but worth checking. They also have several holiday cottages on site plus the camping which may be able to cater for you?

Got married there 9 years ago so no up to date info but just to say I so recommend the venue - so romantic and fun to have photos with the big plastic dinosaursGrin Had a relaxed reception in the pub nearby then rented self catering in the area.

thank you all for replying.
The caves don't offer a reception, and they won't give me any ideas until I go for my wedding view, but as not local want to tie in that with looking at reception venues.
master it is very romantic there. We went because it was raining and sort of laughed when we saw the sign saying you can get married here. But cathedral cave took my breath away.

Will check out Penycae inn. thanks
