What sort of ceremony? Only it has to be absolutely secular if a civil wedding. You'd be surprised at how many bits of music aren't too. Also, it's worth listening to any words quite carefully....

My choices are really rather peculiar particular so probably won't be much help but I'm coming into Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" with Fairport Convention's "Where The Times Goes" and Judy Collins "In My Life" for the signing.

What sort of music do you like?

DH wanted me to walk in to the theme from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

He's still muttering about it 24 years later!

I'm in a gospel choir and do lots of weddings with them. Without a doubt, the most popular exit song is Higher and Higher (Jackie Wilson). We've also done Signed, Sealed, Delivered.

For entry we've done stuff like Songbird, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Chasing Cars, Umbrella, All You Need Is Love.

We once did Seasons Of Love from Rent as a request. I quite liked that one - didn't know it before hand though.

Thanks all, its civil. Don't want a song, want something weddingy but nothing too much/grand. Like classical stuff. Don't want queen of sheba/here comes the bride - nothing too pomp and ceremony!

I walked up the aisle (albeit in Greece) to the Captain Corelli theme tune - not classic weddings music but beautiful I think.

Pelagia's Song by Stephen Warbeck is what it's called. Just listen to it again and it's lovely!
