Does this sound terrible...

Have Namechanged as i think a few RL frinds know what i post under on here.

Background is: DP and i will have been together 12 years by the time we get married. We are writing our own vows, and i have something along these lines stuck in my head, but not sure if the guests would 'get' it or if it just sounds stupid.
When DP proposed he said something along the lines of 'you frustrate me, and you drive me completely crazy, but i love you so much and i want to spend my life with you...'' blah blah...

So, vows i have in my head are something like this...

I could stand here and tell you how much i love you, and how much you and our DD mean to me, but you already know.
I could promise to be faithful, to go through the good and bad together, but those promises have already been made.
So today i promise this. I will go on frustrating you, and driving you crazy, and making you love me, every single day.... blah blah...

SO, honest opinions, as a guest would you be thinking 'what a bitch!"

No, I think it sounds nice and that people would "get" it.
I would probably tear up at that in fact I may have already

I like it, to me thats what vows are meat to be. Different, personal and with special meanings to the 2 of you xx

I think it might be better to save that kind of thing for the speeches afterwards (if you're having them) where you could tell the story etc, it seems a slightly odd thing to say as a vow.

I think it is a beautiful vow, personal to you, yet something that can be understood by those in relationships too.

They are your vows, so you write them how you want to, and don't worry about what other people think.
