We're hoping to get married this summer and i intend to be still breastfeeding DD2 who will be less than 6months - can anyone recommend a dress shop or online site that does wedding dresses designed for breastfeeding. I will definitely consider getting a dress made too.....

You could try a dress that's strapless and just roll down over boob.it depends on style you're going for...traditional vs beach wedding? I can't think of websites but am breastfeeding and recently went dress shopping with this in mind and there are a few styles that work.good luck for the big day and baby!

Hello, I got married on Wednesday and was still breastfeeding our 6 month old. I cant offer advice on which dress or shop to get it from. I would however recommend a button or pop open dress. Mine was laced up at the back which meant I was unable to feed after I was pulled in to it, and by the end of the evening I was in agony and begging my husband to get me out of the dress so that I could express.

Because of the boning in the front of my dress I was unable to roll it down. I hadn't really factored feeding in when choosing my dress. Typically our daughter decided on Saturday that she had had enough of breast milk and will no longer feed from me.... Hmm

Good advice Natz! I've decided to look for a soft dress (wedding no.2 so don't want full Monty IYKWIM).
Going shopping this week!Grin

daughter's wedding dress was skirt and bodice, two parts, rather than a single dress. apparently a lot are like that. perhaps you could find something of that style? lifting up is easier than rolling down...

I am making bridesmaids dresses for a family wedding and we needed a BF friendly dress so I'm making a dress like These.
They are known as convertible dresses or infinity dresses.

They are so comfortable and fun because you can wear them a number of ways. I thing the bridesmaids will be having one way for the wedding and one way for the evening at least. Plus because I'm making them to size I have added a modesty panel to the BF bridesmaids dress but there are a number of people on Etsy that make them in any colour or length so you could added a beautiful pool train in a lovely white to make it a stunning BF friendly bridal dress.

(plus you could anyways dye it after and wear it as a stunning maxi dressWink)

I have chosen (and paid for) a dress that it will be impossible to get out of if DS needs feeding. He is a total boobaholic, bottle refusing MONSTER right now so I am hoping I can get him weaned onto something other than me by June!
