Noooooo!!! I hate this hot weather, its too hot to do anything and the outside thermometer is hitting 27oC daily with little to no breeze!!!

I want to know if its going to be a lovely, super cold winter

I found this and this about El Nino. A lot of what's on the web goes right over my head but reading that blog, it sounds like it increases the chance of a hot summer/cold winter. But it then goes on to say that there was an El Nino event in 2006/2007 but that it was a mild winter that year. Confused

Bollocks. I just typed out a whole load of stuff and my ipad lost it.

In short, WMO forecast

It looks like El Niño probably won't establish until the autumn and so won't affect us until the winter. Typically El Niño does being cold and drier conditions in the winter to Europe. (Take 2009) however, it can be over ridden, especially if it's a weak one such as the 2006 which was one of the warmest years on record.

Right am posting before it loses it again! Grin
