bizarre weather

As it's hot I've got all the windows open and have just 1/2 an hour ago watered the garden and hung the laundry out. I heard it start to rain so went to get the laundry in but it wasn't raining, though I could still hear it. It was raining on the right and left of me but there was no rain right down the middle of the garden. I've never seen anything like that before!

Wow. What area do you live in? Good your washing was in the dry side!

In the middle! Maybe it was raining on the left and right of the country and missing us out...now it's chucking it down though :(
