I'm about to go to work. It is possible, there were some reports yesterday and I saw rotation in a storm that passed over me.

Could you see any movement in it? What direction were you facing? What was the weather conditions at the time? (Apart from dark cloud!) do you have a more def time? (And a location which you are welcome to pm me).

The differential 'diagnosis' is scud and I need to take a closer look on a bigger screen and I'll check out other reports. Should be able to get back to you later this afternoon or worse case scenario tomorrow morning.

I remember beiign mightily scared of clouds near my mums. distant and near clouds were going in opposite directions looking very much like rotation ominously dark. fortunately it did not amount to anything, but I did play a game with the children to get them ready to hide pdq.
