met office warnings primarily for the SW and much of
Wales on Thursday. Could gust to 60mph in places.

Going to be a bugger in the garden. Stake those broad beans!

Still on course to get gales tomorrow. The warnings extend as far east as Sussex and as far north as Birmingham before turning up[wards to include much of Wales.

There will be some tree damage if the forecast comes off as expected.

Will it be a SW wind?

They will be digerd.

warnings have been extended further east to cover most of southern England also the wind strengths are upgraded. Coastal areas could see winds of 65mph.

Now is your chance to tidy things in the garden and tether those trampolines!

can't spell either capitals. Just put her down so I can use 2 hands.

The large Pine trees other side of narrow canal at bottom of garden are at risk. Last time, a few years ago, woke up in the morning to find broken branches, some right up to patio doors, and neighbours tree brances had ripped my shed roof off and rain had got into the sockets and tripped the switch to all house lights and sockets Angry

A couple of years ago, on a Monday evening, the top fancy bits of 3 fence pancels had been broken and my pot Camelia fell over and dropped all its buds Sad

Winds not arrived here yet and is all sunny this morning atm.
Think it was 1987 when the SE had terrible storm winds that uprooted lots of large trees? And Kew gardens lost quite a few Sad

Blowing a gale in S Wales. My little plastic greenhouse which has been tethered by bungees attached to bolts drilled into a wall all winter has been dancing freely in my garden. Wind speeds here at the moment 49mph which is faster than my car can go Grin
