It's still very early and only just coming into the models range. At the moment it looks like very typical spring weather, sunshine and showers. Some frost at night away from the south and not terribly warm.

Yesterday the model was showing warmer weather so it shows that it is very much up in the air still.

Thanks OYBBK, could you please let me know next weekend (trying to work out whether we should go in a caravan instead - would prefer not to, but when I look outside my home, there is still snow on mountain!).

:)

We are in Cornwall shortly after that, I have the sad face looking at the telegraph report that winter conditions are here to stay. Am I really going to schlep the family all that way for bad weather?

Am marking my place on this thread. We've had our campervan four years - first two Easters we had beautiful camping trips, but last two have been either so cold or rainy we haven't gone :( Have really ruled out this Easter as well, but OYBBK's mention of even the faintest possibility of warmer weather has got me just a little bit hopeful...

Well, although it does look like it will be warmer than it is now, it does look to be very wet indeed I'm afraid.

Rain but warm? No idea what to do then. Need to make our mind up by the weekend.

Whichever turd we gild with glitter here it's really not camping weather Grin

Seriously, it's too cold for me to go out and bung a few lily bulbs in a pot.

Laurie, do you live down there? Low teens don't sound to bad, but it depends how cold it gets over night. Hate going to sleep in a bag when its cold :( Though the dc somehow love it!

Camping in Cornwall during an early Easter?

I would question your sanity.

Weather report for today: horizontal, freezing rain; a SE gale blowing evilly off the sea, and the temp is about 5 degrees.

Easter is next week!
