Anyone got a weather forecast for the coming winter?

Am hoping for loads of snow which will prevent the trains running to London so I can't get to work and have to have snow days with DS and DH.... :)

Its far too early for me to predict any trends, but I suspect some forecasters will be forming ideas by now!
