So who has what now?

No Snow here, very cold though.

I just put water out for the birds at 08.30. How long before it freezes?

Metcheck showing snow here from 0900. Hmm

Just as well I don't believe it!

OYBBK, how did you cope last night?

London, still snow-free. DCs severely disappointed.

Is it likely we'll get any here at all? On Tues/Wed perhaps?

Frozen snow left over from yesterday. I almost fell over taking stuff out to the bin.

Keeping fingers crossed it either melts or the boys get a snow day tomorrow.

Glorious sunshine here.

Cats looked at me like I was nuts when I opened the garage door to let them out. I reckon the radiator cover looked a bit more inviting! Grin

Norfolk. It snowed here for about an hour this morning, enough to give a covering. Sky looks heavy with more but we weren't supposed to get any according to the forecasts.

Leicester ~ got 2~3cms from Friday night snow. Think the temp last night was -6 although my garden thermometer on the side of the shed in the back garden, is saying it's -10 at the moment. I've tried to keep the pond clear of ice for the birds but 30 mins later, it starts to freeze over again. There's a very confused Wagtail that keeps going to the pond wondering where the water's gone!

Perthshire and its been snowing fairly heavily since four this morning, with thunder and lighting too, if it keeps up like this, no work tomorrow!!!

Babs - we're near Dundee - about 3-4 inches of snow. Wasn't the thunder and lightening the wierdest thing???

Hi lal123

I heard it at four this morning and thought that someone was rolling their wheely bin along the pavement!! Strange thought but there you go!! DH thought that there was an explosion but thankfully its stopped now, although the snow seems to have turned round and is coming from the west now, no going out for me tonight :(

I keep trying to put out seed for the birds in the back garden but it's getting covered over by the snow...

I want snow Sad, we had a small amount on friday night which (only 1cm), if i drive 2 miles up the road there no snow at all, so its still white here but melting slowlly. I don't think we are going to get anymore, we never get much in Dorset Sad, i would love to be snowed in for a few days, the dd's have monday off school (teacher training day) so snow on monday would be nice so they get another day off to play in the snow. Dd2 has just had a week off with chicken pox and a snow day would make her so happy (she loves the snow).
