so what's the best site for checking the local weather?

met office site and met check both saying totally different things

i just wanna know if we're going to EVER get any snow here in west sussex!!!

I use metcheck but the thing with snow is that its really hard to forecast unless its actually happening and there are lots of different models to look at to predict - all of which are showing different things at the moment. (i just look at the pretty colours but OYBBK knows them!)

I think everywhere is due snow this week, but you can have some of ours if you want?

ahh so whatever i find out it may not be accurate anyway with regards to snow

thanks for link posey, that says snow on tues. and wed. and fri and sat.

i guess the in-laws won't be able to come after all. shame.

exactly that thisisyesterday, you are in a reasonable position to get some snow, but it is astonishingly hard to predict (unless you live in the NE! It tends to crop up at very short notice due to little lows and troughs forming.

I am in the BNE and my HTC is still telling me there is no snow Hmm Grin

are snow showers on and off? and light snow is constant but um, light?

that is a good summary! you can have heavy snow showers that deposit inches quickly and light snow all day that comes to not much at all in the end.
