BLW - too soon?

DD is 25 weeks, last week she actually nicked a bit of mango from my plate when i wasn't paying attention and gummed it to death so I thought she was ready for BLW.

We started in earnest on friday, just one "meal" a day and tbh she's not that fussed about picking finger food up from her high chair tray and eating it. By trial and error, I discovered today that she REALLY likes me to load up a spoon with mashed (not pureed) food and give it to her, she then eats off the spoon, throws the spoon away and waits for another full spoon to "magically" (that'll be my job then!) appear...

I decided to go down the BLW route cus I'm too lazy to puree.... so BLW-ers what do you think? Should I keep offering fingerfood and hope she gets the message or is she just trying to tell me not to be such a fecking lazy mummy and get the moulinex out?

just depends on the way you want to do it really. do you want to do blw? ie wait until she is able to pick up food and feed herself..or do you want to do spoon feeding, or do you want to do spoon feeding with some finger foods too? if you are keen to do blw then you'll stop with the spoon and go with the waiting til she picks it up thing.
