My 8month old dd is on 3 meals a day (mixture of purees and finger foods) and has 6oz bottle in the morning and about 9oz before bed. She was having a bottle in the afternoon too but over the last few days she wont take it. Is it ok for her to be going from 12 - 5 having nothing to eat? she is bothered by it but should i try giving her more finger food/yoghurt? everything i've read say she should be having more milk than this and a snack in the afternoon? what would you do?
sorry for being a paranoid/stressy first time mum!!!

If she's maintaining / gaining weight, why worry? Is she wingey before tea time looking for food? if she doesn't seem hungry then don't worry. If you don't like the idea of snacks, you could always bring her tea forward to 4pm so the gap between meals isn't as long.
