Weaning

When did you stop not letting your lo eat half eaten food?

God, I'm sure that made no sense
What I mean is the advice when weaning is that you can't put half eaten food in the fridge and then use it again later. So if using a jar you have to tip half of it into another bowl first.
So if dd eats half her yogurt and fruit salad for lunch and I want to give her the rest for tea instead of throwing it away when can I?

easiest thing to do is offer half in the first place and then seconds

Glad you explained that - my brain was starting to hurt trying to work it out.

Not sure I can help though, sorry. Although I think I'd be happier keeping and re-serving the fruit salad than the yoghurt, as the yoghurt would have saliva in from the spoon (though not sure it would matter for a few hours in the fridge). Sorry - no help really.

ie serve yogurt in dish

if she eats it all serve anoithe rspoonful

same with fruit salad just like you do with adult food

you don't need to give her the lot at once

I would say under one year old I would be cautious with milk bacteria, I stopped worrying when I caught ds eating bird poop at 13 months.
