Any reason why I can't give 1y+ food to a 10mo?

I'm starting to doubt my own sanity at the mo, and I know you will put me right!!!

These dishes say that they're for 1year+. My 10mo eats what we eat a lot of the time anyway, and I'm just wondering if there's any specific reason why I couldn't give him one of these suitably chopped.
(I normally make his food at the weekend, but DH and I are going away and I want to give the in-laws something easy to serve up)

They all look ok to me - only things can't have till over 1 are soft-cooked eggs, and honey if i remember correctly. DS2 eats very similar things now mushed up but h/m and hes only 7 mths. Guess it's just the way they'rew chopped????? Not sure otherwise ..... but a lot of people think it's terrible that I give ds2 curry even if it is the most mildest imaginable so I'm waiting to be corrected!!!

Thanks katylou - I've looked at the ingredients and they seem fine.
And as for curry - my DS2 (the 10mo one) comes home from nursery smelling of GARLIC!!!
